Inherent Vice is a crime comedy-drama based on the novel by Thomas Pynchon. The film stars Owen Wilson, Josh Brolin, Benecio Del Toro, Joaquin Phoenix and was directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. Set in 1970, drug-fueled Los Angeles detective Larry “Doc” Sportello investigates the disappearance of a former girlfriend.
