Full disclosure, I’ve never been able to get into One Piece the anime, I didn’t even attempt the manga but I grew up with friends and siblings who are fans, so I was always aware of it. That said I love Iñaki Godoy‘s energy for Luffy. For the little I know about the character, I feel like he’s nailing the live-action version.
As for the aesthetic of the show, it looks quite good; it resembles an alternate version of Earth and reminds me of Anime live-action movies produced in Japan.

One Piece season one is now streaming on Netflix.
