How was it?

Pittacus Lore managed to write yet another engaging novella that keeps you wanting more. The universe of the series is expanding and I love it.

When number five first appeared in the series, I was happy that the garde were reunited but I didn’t trust him at all. In Five’s legacies, I came to like five. His insecurities, his laziness, and his need to connect were something that I could relate to. But in Five’s Betrayal, I went right back to where I started. Learning about what led him to do what he did in the Fall of Five did not bring any kind of compassion. I don’t hate him but I don’t like him. I never trusted him anyway, so if he could die I wouldn’t really care. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for him in the Revenge of Seven and I hope there’s no redemption for him in the future that would really make the whole storyline suck.

What did you guys think of the novella?

Rating: 4 out of 5.
