Last season on Grimm: Juliette, now, knows that Nick is a Grimm. He’s no longer a living-dead, but he killed a human and that upset him for a while. Adalind got her powers back and gave birth to a baby girl the Royal family of Austria want to get a hold of by any means necessary ; Nick’s mother reappeared and protected the baby. Monroe and Rosalee were getting married. During one of his investigations Nick met Theresa Rubel, a young lost young woman who’s also a Grimm.

Grimmiere review: The season finale last season left us with a gunned down man, a powerless Grimm and a runnaway Hexenbiest. The premiere picked up where we left of and Juliette is being so strong and I’m loving it. Her house is a mess, her relationship is in a rocky state but her head is in the game and she’s not some worried sick helpless woman whose man does all the heavy lifting.

They weaved a very smart and interesting first case to last season finale events because like Theresa said herself the Wesen was just outside the convents of the law, which in my opinion gives leeway to a possible radicalism on Theresa’s part. I can easily see her go back to chopping Wesens’ heads off, old-fashioned Grimm style.

They introduced a mysterious, maybe not so mysterious, new character in the premiere. Right off the bat I knew she was a Hexenbiest and I suspect her to be – not that she looks old enough to be – Captain’s Renard mother. She looks sweet but dangerous and I’m dying to see how the season will unfold.
