Review

The three episodes of the second season of Reacher are here and they are amazing. Is it just me or did the show get bigger and better? Bigger for sure because Ritchson looks massive he’s more of a tank than he was in the first season if that’s even possible. Storywise it involves the 110th Reacher’s old group of Special investigators and as bittersweet as it is I’m loving the reunion.

We’re not just introduced to the Special Investigators today but the show supplies us with flashbacks of how the team worked. It fleshes out the new characters and gives us great insight into the bond they all shared. I love the interactions between the 110th members investigating this case, and how this particular mystery is unfolding. Brain and brawn are being used and it’s great.

If you’re familiar with the book this season is based on, you’ll notice that the locations have been changed and that alone gives the story a different feel. The show managed to make a story that I read recently very exciting, it’s not just the location change and different atmosphere but how the writers are repurposing scenes from the book. Once again I highly recommend this show.
