As we usher in a new year, movie enthusiasts and book lovers like myself eagerly anticipate the silver-screen adaptations of some of the most beloved literary works. In 2023, the silver screen witnessed an array of compelling films based on books, each weaving a unique tapestry of emotions and storytelling. I sadly haven’t watched them all, some were just not available where I live, but out of those that I’ve seen and reviewed here are my top 5 movie adaptations of 2023, each offering a distinct flavor of literary magic.
