Jupiter’s Legacy (Season Review) | Old Grudges Die Hard
It's been increasing for at least the last ten years but these past six months seem to have been flooded with new superhero shows (WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Invincible). Despite the medium and streaming, these new shows do not resemble the ones we had before. They are more adult, tackling deeper, harder … Continue reading Jupiter’s Legacy (Season Review) | Old Grudges Die Hard
Things Heard and Seen (Movie Review) | One Genre Masquerading as Another
Going in I was like "I am not a horror fan, I get scared too easily and I have enough stress in my life" but I watched Things Heard and Seen because it was Amanda Seyfried (Les Misérables, Dear John); James Norton (Little Women, McMafia) helped too. Adapted and directed by Shari Springer Berman and … Continue reading Things Heard and Seen (Movie Review) | One Genre Masquerading as Another

Lupin (Part 1 Review) | Arsène Lupin Meets the Count of Monte Cristo
Lupin wasn't in my radar until that first trailer came out. I thought it was interesting that they cast Omar Sy (X-men Days of Future Past) in the role of Arsène Lupin but I didn't think I would make it past the first episode. When doing so I found out that Louis Leterrier (Incredible hulk) … Continue reading Lupin (Part 1 Review) | Arsène Lupin Meets the Count of Monte Cristo

The Prom (Movie Review) | Truthful and Poignant Observations with Song and Dance
I'm not a Musical theater guy so I winced at the run time, but Ryan Murphy (Ratched) has worked on a lot of projects that I appreciated. Jo Ellen Pellman (The Deuce) and Ariana DeBose (Hamilton) are unknown to me but the rest of the cast Meryl Streep (The Giver), Nicole Kidman (Paddington), Kerry Washington … Continue reading The Prom (Movie Review) | Truthful and Poignant Observations with Song and Dance
