A few quirks? Really? George is the weirdest dude I know. He wears capes in public, brings a book everywhere he goes, and loves all things spooky. He’s also the smartest person on the planet—who somehow thinks I can help him write a How-To-Get-A-Date playbook for his boss. Yeah, that sounds suspicious. I know baseball; I don’t know anything about love. But I can’t say no. The thing is…I’ve always had a soft spot for George. But falling for my best friend’s brother is against the rules, isn’t it?

Rules of Play is an MM bisexual awakening story where opposites attract and shenanigans ensue!

How was it?

After Following the Rules, the second entry in The Script Club series seems to be using the same bisexual awakening trend that the first one did, which can be hit or miss for me sometimes but in The Script Club it works. It feels real coming from these characters, there is a cluelessness about them that grounds the story. That paired with the maturity and acceptance for what they’re feeling makes the whole bi-awakening storyline work.

In Rules of Play Aiden’s attitude about his attraction to George is great. I was rooting for him from the start. I loved how warm, sweet and sexy he was with George, how he rolled with G’s quirks, and also how they were both there and good for each other. The steam is also amazing, and so hot. It’s a great read with a nice pace.
