A Working Man doesn’t reinvent the action genre, but it doesn’t need to. Statham is solid, the pacing works, and there’s just enough grit and heart to keep you locked in. You’ve seen this before, but it still works.
Marvel’s Thunderbolts trades bombast for something more grounded: a character-driven story about broken people trying to do some good. It’s surprisingly emotional, well-paced, and refreshingly self-contained.
