White bird in a blizzard is the movie adaptation of Laura Kasischke’s novel. It is set in the 1980s and is about the chaotic turn a teenage girl’s life takes after her mom disappears.

It stars the talented Eva Green (300 Rise of an Empire, Penny Dreadful), Shailene Woodley (Divergent, The Fault is in our stars), Christopher Meloni (Man of Steel, Law & Order: SVU) and Thomas Jane (Hung).

I have been dying to see that movie, the trailer looks good, I’m not worried about it because the actors are fantastic so I know they’ll do a good job. And it’s a decent director so all is good. The movie was presented at Sundance Film Festival back in January, which when I first heard about it but I haven’t seen it in movie theatres yet. There’s talk of an internet release for the 25th of Septembre but my point is as soon as I see the movie I’ll write about it.
