Synopsis: Best friends Sophie and Agatha find themselves on opposing sides of an epic battle when they’re swept away into an enchanted school where aspiring heroes and villains are trained to protect the balance between Good and Evil.

The first three books of the series have spent the better part of two years on my TBR list, giving that the movie is coming up soon I will probably read at least the first book this month. I hope I’ll like it because the film looks interesting enough and the cast is nothing to sneeze at, but Paul Feig is not always a sure bet. David Magee who scripted it also penned Mary Poppins Returns which was O.K, but he’s behind the upcoming The Little Mermaid, and I’m very excited to see that. So I really want for this movie and the books that it is based on to work for me.
