Review:
This first episode is a quick recap, not an origin story of how Jennifer Walters became a hulk. They’ve also laid the groundwork for what could make anyone a potential Hulk, but that’s not the focus here.
Looks like the show will pretty much give us what it’s like for regular folks living in the MCU to witness these Aliens, sorcerers, and super-powered beings coming out of the woodwork. All that through the eyes of someone transitioning from a regular person to a super person.
The show is already asking the same questions about MCU characters as we are. The whole Steve Rogers thing was the subject of many debates and videos at some points. The episode was full of nuggets of seemingly innocuous information that either foreshadows bigger and better upcoming things in the cinematic universe.
She-Hulk looks fun and interesting but the runtime is too short, we’ll see how it turns out in the coming weeks because it’ll probably make the storylines feel like a bunch of synopsis more than anything else.
